Edward F. Shaver

Chief Scientist

Mr. Shaver has an impressive career as a physicist from Penn State, patent holder, published author, inventor and developer of new, embedded microprocessor product designs that spans over 30 years.

Personal heath and fitness: Truly ahead of his time, Edward Shaver developed one of the first handheld computers in the late 1980s called GymMate. The GymMate was the first self-contained, microprocessor-controlled product capable of managing a complete personal training and diet program. Without the need for connection to a computer, the GymMate was capable of real-time feedback from the user, including everything from adjustments to workout routines in real-time, to management of time periods between sets in the gym.

In the early 1990s Edward developed the first commercially viable hand-held storm detector. This design demonstrated the use and superiority of magnetic field detection in the detection and ranging of lightning. This design was improved and enhanced with the development with next gen technology in the late 1990s, which pioneered the use of advanced noise filtering software which allowed the technology to be used in new applications not previously possible.

In the realm of more theoretical inventions, Edward Shaver has developed a method for extremely low-power nuclear magnetic resonance detection of explosives and chemicals, with the purpose of allowing the technology to be deployed as small, hand-carried devices. This technique built upon proven methods of magic-angle spinning used in the petrochemical industry. Current theoretical work includes the design of low-power magnetic field detection on the nanoscale that might serve as effective warning of earthquake activity up to several weeks in advance.

Rev. Tiffany Barsotti, M.Th.

In loving memory of Rev. Tiffany Barsotti, M.Th.

Tiffany was a much loved internationally renowned medical intuitive, spiritual healer, and a clinician and researcher of subtle energy, biofield therapies and energy psychology. With her spiritual and intuitive guidance, she served as an integrative practitioner working alongside physicians and other allied health professionals. She received her Masters of Theology in Energy Medicine with special emphasis in Medical and Spiritual Counseling from Holos University Graduate Seminary and was personally mentored by the school’s founders, Drs. C. Norman Shealy and Caroline Myss. Tiffany was a visiting scholar at the University California at San Diego. To advance her clinical and research activities, she utilizes Biofield devices to measure the human Biofield and Subtle Energy interactions related to mind-body mechanisms. Tiffany believed in our technology and will always be a part of what we accomplish.

Dr. Paul J. Mills

Paul J. Mills is Professor and Chief at the University of California San Diego’s (UCSD) Department of Family Medicine and Public Health and Director of the UCSD Center of Excellence for Research and Training in Integrative Health. He is Director of Research for the Deepak Chopra Foundation, with a focus on meditation and yoga within the context of Traditional Medical Systems.

In the early 1980s, he published some of the earliest scientific research on meditation. His work has been featured in Time Magazine, The New York Times, National Public Radio, US News and World Reports, Consumer Reports, The Huffington Post, Gaia TV, and WebMD, among others. He has presented his work at hundreds of conferences and workshops around the world, including presenting at the United Nations. His current Integrative Medicine work focuses on better defining what is meant by the “whole person” and addressing the need to incorporate the transcendent aspects of human awareness, consciousness itself, back into medicine in order to truly understand the whole person and achieve optimal wellbeing.
